What we do with your email

Reading a play on this site collects nothing at all. No account, no login, and no advertising or tracking cookies — which is why you have never seen a cookie banner here.

What we collect

One thing: the email address you type in to unlock the spreadsheets and printable cards. Alongside it we keep a short tag saying where you gave it to us — the home page, the toolbox, or the download box along with the name of the file you were after — so we know which plays and sheets people actually use. We do not ask for your name, your company, or your phone number, and we never ask you to pay for a play.

Who holds it

The list itself lives with beehiiv, our email provider — they store it and send the mail on our behalf. Nobody else gets it: we do not sell, rent, trade, or hand your address to anyone, and we do not use it to target advertising.

What we send

Occasional email from Roofer MBA — new plays, new sheets, and the odd note about something we got wrong and fixed. That is the whole reason the list exists.

Getting off the list, or getting deleted

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom. That is the way off: it works immediately, it needs nothing from us, and it is the only step there is. If you would rather be erased outright than just unsubscribed, reply to any email from us and say “delete me” — we take the address off the list entirely.

If no email from us ever turned up, check the spam folder first. If there is nothing there either, the sign-up never landed and we are not holding your address at all.

One footnote, for completeness: this browser also remembers a few things so the site can be useful when you come back — that you unlocked the files (so it stops asking), the last play you were reading (so the front page can offer to pick it up), and which weeks of the 30-day path you’ve checked off. All of it sits on your device, not with us — clearing this site’s data in your browser clears it, and none of it has anything to do with whether you are on the mailing list.

Traffic measurement

If page analytics are switched on, they run without cookies and without following you around the internet: we count which pages get read, which sheets and cards get taken, and which page a sign-up came from — never who did any of it. Server logs held by our host may keep an IP address briefly for security and abuse prevention, which is also how we stop somebody hammering the sign-up form.

Changes, and how to reach us

If this ever changes, this page changes with it — there is only one page, and it is this one. Questions about your address, or a request to be deleted, go by replying to any email from us; that reaches a person. If you never got one, you are not on the list, and there is nothing of yours for us to delete.
